Development History

1986

Mr. Wang Ruikun, the company’s founder, began researching the demand for recirculating‑water cooling, conceptualizing related products, and leveraging the local concentration of the cooling‑tower industry as a strategic opportunity to drive business expansion and develop innovative growth models.

1986–2004

The company has achieved the production and sales of open‑type cooling towers.

2005

The company’s Technical Department has been established, and the cooling tower product line has officially entered the stage of independent technological R&D.

2007

Establishment of the Hefei Sales and Service Center

2008

Suzhou Sales and Service Center Established

2010

It has been awarded honors such as “High-Quality Leading Enterprise” and “Municipal Key Laboratory,” and its fog‑removal, water‑saving cooling tower has received the Shandong Province Technological Innovation Project Award, among others.

2012

Following its restructuring, Shandong Yatai Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was established and embarked on the comprehensive development of its management system. The company has set up well‑equipped production bases for closed‑circuit cooling towers, evaporative condensers, air coolers, and other products, while independently researching, designing, and upgrading energy‑efficient heat exchange equipment.

2016

We have established a long-term strategic partnership with Weifang Special Steel Group, secured over 40 patents and achieved technology transfer through our own R&D efforts, and obtained “3A‑Level Enterprise Certification.”

2018

It has established a long-term strategic partnership with Hisense Group, collaborated on projects with more than ten domestic universities, launched research initiatives, increased R&D investment in the heat exchange field, and actively recruited top talent.

2019

Established a long-term strategic partnership with Wanda Group and was awarded the title of “Weifang City Enterprise Technology Center.”

2020

Obtained certification for the Environmental Management System, Quality Management System, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System, as well as certification under the Standardized Safety Production System.

2022

The company has expanded its operations and relocated to a new district, earning accolades such as “Internship and Training Base Unit of Shandong Qilu University of Technology” and “Weifang City Enterprise Technology Center.”

2023

The company has entered a phase of rapid growth, undertaking a comprehensive rebranding of the Yatai Refrigeration brand and successively earning accolades such as “Shandong Province SME Innovation R&D Center” and “Shandong Province Specialized, Fine, Distinctive, and Innovative SME.”

2025

Recognized as an “Outstanding Enterprise in Advanced Technological Innovation,” the company once again achieved a record-breaking annual total output value, with a nationwide network of partner clients and ongoing expansion into overseas markets.
